Q) Do you size rings ?

A) Yes, we can size most gold, silver or platinum rings.

Q) How much is it to size a ring ?

A) It depends on the ring.  Downsizing a gold solitaire or plain gold band  is usually about $35.00 There are a number of factors that can affect the price, such as having stones set down the sides of the ring, having to add metal, or having to size the ring up or down several ring sizes.  We generally need to see the ring to give you an accurate quote. 

Q) Do you do appraise jewelry ?

A) Yes.  Appraisals are a cornerstone of our business.  Our appraiser  is a GIA Graduate Gemologist with many years experience appraising fine jewelry  and has been examined and passed by The Jewelers Board of Appraisal review.

Q) Is there a charge for appraisals and if so, how much ?

A) Professionally prepared appraisals always incur a fee.  At Baxley Jewelers, we make it a policy never to do free “guestimate” verbal appraisals.  Determining the value of a jewelry item requires careful inspection, attention to detail, and sometimes testing or research to determine quality and authenticity.   Our appraisals adhere to the strictest professional standards and are recognized by insurance companies nationwide.  They include a full written description of the article accompanied by a fair estimate of retail replacement value.  We also photograph the item to aid in replacement and identification.  Our per item appraisal fees usually start at $50.00 - $75.00 for most types of jewelry.  Some articles which are very old or unique may require additional research to ascertain their authenticity and value, and would incur a higher fee. 

Q) Do you buy jewelry ?

A)Baxley Jewelers accepts select estate items for sale on consignment in our office, and we recieve a commission when the item is sold.  All consigned items are fully insured while in our care. Please call or email us for more details.  We will also buy old and unwanted gold and silver jewelry and pay competitive recycling rates which vary with  daily market prices.

Q) What kinds of jewelry do you carry in your store ?

A) Baxley Jewelers, LLC is not a jewelry store. We are a one-of-a-kind custom designer and special-order retailer.  We don’t carry many jewelry items  in stock, but can order or create  almost anything you would like or can imagine.

Q) Do you have certified diamonds ?

A) Our suppliers have some of the largest selections of certified diamonds in the world.  When you visit our office, you can select from our vast virtual inventory, complete with photos and grading reports, to find exactly the diamond you want before you order it.  Baxley Jewelers is also a special-order retailer for Red Box Diamonds, all of which feature grading reports that are guaranteed accurate, a one year full replacement policy and a life-time trade-up at full value.  Red Box diamonds comply with the mandates of the Kimberly Process and are warrantied conflict-free.

Q) What are your shipping policies ?

A) Many of our items featured online are drop-shipped directly from our suppliers warehouse, which saves time in getting your order to you.  Some of our suppliers do not drop-ship, so we must ship to you after we receive the order at our office. When you select a shipping option, we will endeavor to find the fastest, most economical method to get your order to you for the option you select. .  We will notify you by email when your order is shipped and by what carrier, and will provide a tracking number when provided.  Please note: UPS and FEDERAL EXPRESS do NOT ship to P.O. Boxes.  Orders shipped to P.O. Boxes MUST be shipped by U.S. Postal Service.  


 Q) What are your return policies ?


A) Baxley Jewelers, LLC is committed to excellence in customer service.  Your satisfaction is our top priority. Sales of all new in-stock retail merchandise are backed by a 7 day refund / 30 day exchange policy.  Special orders, including loose diamonds and gemstones are exchange only.

All new merchandise is warrantied against defects in material/workmanship for a period of 90 days and will be replaced if found defective. Warranties do not cover estate jewelry. Customer is responsible for return shipping for online purchases.   We do not warrant damage resulting from accident, neglect or abuse.

 Custom design, estate jewelry, repairs and appraisal services are not returnable but our work is warrantied for 90 days against defects in material or workmanship. Q) Where exactly are you located ?

A) Adamson Square in downtown Carrollton, Georgia.  Our office is located above LaTrattoria on the Square Italian Restaurant, right next to A Piece of the Pie European Bakery and Blue Moon Steak House).  Second floor, suite 8.

We're only a short drive from west Atlanta, Bremen, Dallas, Douglasville, Villa Rica, Hiram, Temple, Newnan, Whitesburg, Roopville, Wedowee, Fruithurst, Waco, Tallapoosa, Palmetto, Bowden, Buchanan, LaGrange and even Macon...convenient to the University of West Georgia.
